| Traffic onthe A19 is really bad on rush hour(6:00pm) a lot of crashes hold the road up but you can listen to metro radio and captain "marky mark" will give u an update every half hour. |

Newcastle Upon Tyne, situated in the north-east of England, is famous for its vibrant nightlife and welcoming people. Baltic Art Gallery - Opened in 2002, this impressive modern art gallery is situated on the Gateshead side of the Tyne. The converted Mill is a spectacular sight and hosts many excellent contemporary exhibitions from some top artists.
The Bridges - Newcastle is famous for the bridges that sit over the river Tyne. From the famous Tyne Bridge, to the world renowned Millennium Bridge, they are a wonderful sight with their contrasting styles.
Metro Centre - The Metro Centre is one of the largest and most impressive indoor shopping centres in Europe. There is a great number of varying shops which are supplemented by restaurants, bars, fast food outlets and a number of entertainment options including a theme park, cinema and bowling alley.
Bigg Market - The Bigg Market is the heart of nightlife in Newcastle. A myriad of lively bars and clubs in streets filled with fellow partiers give the Bigg Market a unique and intoxicating atmosphere.
Angel of the North - The Angel of the North, over the river from Newcastle in Gateshead, was built in late 1990's and is now one of the regions top attractions. The striking bronze coloured structure was designed by famous contemporary artist Anthony Gormley. |
