| Driving in London is great as we were able to select a dual fuel car, which means it runs on both gas and petrol. Because it runs on gas we can drive into London without having to pay the £5 surcharge for driving in central London spewing out exhaust fumes. The gas also costs a fraction of petrol.

| Speed Cameras in London are more common than Bobbies on the beat these days. Don't think for one minute that you can get away with not paying these fines because you have a rented car. So be careful and keep your eyes peeled! |

| Watch out for those damn traffic wardens!! Make sure you always have change for the parking meters - don't park and then run into a shop to get change because by the time you return to feed the meter you will more than likely have a hefty fine waiting for you! |

Millennium Eye - A great place to get your bearing within London, next to waterloo the world's largest Ferris wheel gives a great view of the city.
Buckingham Palace - Opened to the public in 1993, the interior of this magnificent palace range from extreme opulence to tacky kitsch. Nearby attractions include St James' Park and the Institute for Contemporary Art.
Regents Park - A great place to escape the crowds. Regents park, situated in the heart of London, is a welcome green lung in London which also houses London Zoo. Just north of the large park you can find fashionable Primrose Hill.
British Museum - London's first museum, which has just celebrated it's 250th birthday, the British Museum has recently undergone massive renovations. Packed with antiquities and art from every era and country imaginable, the British Museum would take several visits to properly do it justice. |

London Parade - 1st January, The lord Mayor lead a parade of over 10,000 musicians and street performers from Parliament Square to Berkeley Square.
Notting Hill Carnival - One of Europe's biggest street festivals held over the last bank holiday weekend in August. Performers and dancers from all around the world descend on Notting Hill to put on a major show. Various sound stages can also be found throughout the area with local and international acts and DJ's performing for free. |
