Albert Dock - At the top of most tourist's to do list, Albert Dock is located on the attractive Mersey Waterfront just west of the City Centre. Central to Liverpool’s regeneration, Albert dock is made up of England’s largest group of grade-1 listed buildings and renovated warehouses. The area is home to many of Liverpool’s trendiest bars, most stylish shops and several interesting museums.
The Cavern Club - Demolished in 1973 only to be rebuilt eleven years later, the Cavern Club was the venue for almost 300 Beatles’ performances and can claim to be the place where the group were discovered.
Aintree Racecourse - Since 1839 Aintree has been home to the Worlds most famous horse race, the Grand National. Aintree offers a top day out at anytime of the year not only for racing fans but also those who prefer the selection of restaurants, bars and shops around the course.
Hope Street Cathedrals - The Catholic cathedral to the north of Hope Street and the Anglican cathedral to the south side contrast each other beautifully. The Catholic cathedral is a modernistic structure where as the Anglican cathedral is best described as neo-gothic.
