Situated off the west coast of England, in the Irish Sea, the Isle of Man is one of the most unique and attractive places in the UK. The island is well worth a visit with a rich heritage, some majestic landscapes and a relaxing atmosphere.
Although technically part of Britain, the Isle of Man has its own parliament, language and Manx identity which makes in a truly fascinating place to visit. And with pretty towns, spectacular cliffs, wonderful beaches and beautiful castles there is much to see and do on the island. |

Douglas - The islands capital, Douglas, was once a very popular holiday destination for the English, Irish, Scottish and Welsh alike. Although the tourism has declined somewhat it is still an enjoyable place to visit with an attractive seafront and several interesting attractions such as the Manx museum.
Castletown - Once the islands capital, Castletown is arguably the most pleasant and appealing place in the Isle of Man. Castletown's main attraction is the magnificent Castle Rushden which is one of the most beautiful medieval castles you will ever see. There is also much else to see in Castletown, and a fantastic atmosphere throughout.
Laxey - Situated around seven miles to the north of Douglas, Laxey is an attractive town which is well worth a visit. The towns' most attractive features are its beautiful harbour and lovely beach.
St Johns - St Johns is a place of great history as it was the original site of the ancient Manx government, Tynwald. There are some interesting attractions in St Johns including the fantastic St John Chapel. |
