Birmingham Overview |
Thought of by many as just an industrial city, Birmingham is often unfairly maligned. Birmingham is situated in the West Midlands of England, and is the country's second largest city. Modern day Birmingham offers a range of activities and with its rich heritage is a great place to visit.
There is much of interest in Birmingham, for one it has an extensive network of canals with excellent developments on the waterside at many points. Birmingham is also culturally thriving and offers an excellent selection of museums. But despite all this, arguably the cities best draw is its thriving nightlife with a great number of restaurants, bars and clubs. |
