| One of our favorite drives has been through the Cotswolds visiting small town after small town and enjoying the shops and the food.
We also enjoyed a drive across Scotland and a wonderful trip from the top to the bottom of Wales. |

| I have to say that public transport around the Yorkshire Dales leaves a lot to be desired! You are way better off with a car, both for getting here and getting around.

| Right hand driving is no problem as long as you are attentive. But if you're tired it's possible that you'll find yourself on the wrong side of the street. That's dangerous. So drive careful and stop regulary for brakes. |

Wimbledon (late June/Early July) - The worlds most famous and most loved tennis championship takes place in this borough of London every summer. If you can get a ticket it is an absorbing experience, just pray it doesn't rain.
Notting Hill Carnival (August) - This Caribbean inspired carnival is the most colourful and enjoyable festival in the country. As close as you will get to Mardi Gras in England. |
